Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted (225 g)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (265 g)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (175 g)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk butter & sugar: Melt butter and whisk together with sugar until smooth.
  • Add wet ingredients: Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Fold in dry ingredients: Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  • Add chocolate chips: Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  • Scoop & bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space to spread. Bake for 15–17 minutes, until edges are golden.
  • Cool & serve: Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on the tray, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy the crunch!

Notes

  • For extra crisp, bake 1–2 minutes longer.
  • Use dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
