  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick, softened
  • 4 medium eggs

  • tsp baking powder (8g)
  • ½ tsp salt (3g)
  • 1 cup Dark chocolate chips (for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour a 9-inch baking pan.
  • Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add wet ingredients: Mix in eggs one at a time, then add milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until smooth.
  • Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan, top with chocolate chips, and bake for 30–35 minutes.
  • Test & cool: Insert a toothpick into the center—if it comes out clean, it’s ready. Let cool on a wire rack.
  • Serve & enjoy: Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
